OPTiM Launches "Optia Ver1.3" with Improved Response Time of a Display,
Suggesting New Ways to Communicate with Family and Friends
Tokyo (June 13, 2013) - OPTiM, a leader in providing IT support solutions that enable creativity, collaboration and convenience while online, today announced the launch of "Optia Ver1.3" for Android™ which is now available to download on Google Play™ for free for a limited time only and its set-up process is as easy as adding a contact.
"Optia", the first-ever app to enable remote support between smartphone users, first launched on the 25th of Feburary this year and introduced a brand-new support ecosystem for smartphone users. With Optia, smartphone owners can simply enable screen-sharing and remote operation with family and friends to resolve issues without having to rely on inconvenient call centers. "Optia Ver1.3" is an updated version of "Optia" with peer-to-peer computing system which improves response time of a display for a supporter side significantly. OPTiM is also introducing new ways to utilize Optia other than remote support such as navigation assistance navigation, photo and video sharing, and collaboration work.
1. Remote Support:
Powered by OPTiM's one-of-a-kind technology, Optia delivers a brand-new support ecosystem for smartphone users, making it easier than ever to source instructions and feedback to resolve issues and answer questions. Users can enable screen sharing and remote operation to ask questions and solve problems they are experiencing with their device. "Optia Ver1.3" has added features such as customer survey and user activity monitoring to further improve Optia in the future and improved response time of a display (2 - 5 times faster than the previous version*) for a supporter side by implementing peer-to-peer computing system.
2. Navigation Assistance:
Show where you are when meeting with friends and family without having to explain your current location verbally. By enabling screen-sharing feature of Optia, users can easily share a map and location information to navigate one another.
3. Photo and Video Sharing:
Optia users can share an important moment with each other by sharing real-time photos and videos. May it be a wedding, sport game or birthday party, it's as if you are at the event although you are actually miles away.
4. Collaboration Work:
With in-app marker and arrow cursor, it is easy to share your work, have someone review it and get real-time feedback from them. Working remotely has become very common nowadays and OPTiM's technology helps to do it from anywhere with a remote device.
