OPTiM Has Been Recognized to Have the Biggest Scale of Patent Assets per Patent＊1
～ OPTiM has taken the 9th place in the “Ranking of Patent Asset Scale in the Information Communication Industry” 2011-2012 ～
OPTiM, which is headquartered in Tokyo’s Minato-ku, has taken the 9th place in the “Ranking of Patent Asset Scale in the Information Communication Industry” conducted by Patent Result Co., Ltd.
When it comes to per asset size value divided by the number of registered patents, OPTiM has the first spot.
The ranking reflects comprehensive evaluation of each company's "Patent Score※2" that targets patents registered during 1 year, from April 1st, 2011 to March 31st, 2012. Even though OPTiM has 19 registered patents, it has been considered to be the 9th in the ranking.
OPTiM takes intellectual property seriously and has been focusing on strategic patent registration from the date of its foundation. (As a result of this practice, we developed products by using following patent technology.) Our efforts led us to the 1st spot in patent asset scale in a communication field, and to the 9th place in the ranking of gross asset scale despite of its small corporate size.
≪AIC / Configuring・diagnostic technology for all network devices≫

This technology is for initial configuration and diagnosis/repair of devices that have setting interface (ex. HTML). The technology has been used for a product called “Optimal Support”. Regardless of discrepancy in interface originated by device makers or different models, the technology accurately configures devices.

Japanese Patent Number: 4882036, U.S Patent Number: 8301625, Registered as a Korean Patent in Nov. 2012.
This technology is for managing devices on a network in an office or home by using scoring technology. It is a core technology used in products that manage/support multiple devices such as;
Optimal Biz for Mobile: IT support tool to manage smartphones and tablet devices. (MDM)
Optimal Remote Ubiquitous: A tool to remotely support network devices such as TVs, routers and printers, etc.
