OPTiM Corporation, which is headquartered in Tokyo's Minato-ku, announced that from Sep. 27, its remote support solution for Android, "Optimal Remote", supports devices running Android™ 4.1.

"Optimal Remote" is remote support software that remotely supports network devices such as tablets, PCs, routers, TVs, MFPs, etc. on a shared screen securely. With this tool, you no longer have to spend too much time troubleshooting connection problem, as you can share a user's device screen and instantly see/know what is wrong with devices. You can even solve problems by remotely controlling devices. An operator can configure settings related to not only the OS but also applications, which means a more effective and even wider amount of support is available.
This tool is currently used by major carriers in Japan for user support and trouble shooting for smartphones and tablets.
We support Android™ 4.1 for those who bought the latest devices to utilize "Optimal Remote" without inconvenience.
"Optimal Remote" also supports Android™ 2.3 or later, and is available by both SaaS and on-premise models.

"Optimal Remote" can be utilized as support solution by application developers, education institutes, public office, financial facilities, and ISP/ASP.
