Optimal Biz, Japan’s #1 MDM for Three Straight Years, Now Supports Windows^® 10

Allowing management of all devices with the latest OS

Tokyo (July 27, 2015) – OPTiM (TSE Mothers: 3694), a leading provider of business-related applications for smart devices, proudly announces that Optimal Biz, Japan’s No.1^※1 MDM^※2, began supporting Windows^® 10^※3 on July 27, 2015.

Recently, it’s becoming common for end-users to make OS upgrades by themselves. In addition, as Microsoft has announced that Windows^® 10 can be upgraded for free for one year after its public release^※4, like the OS for mobile devices such as iOS and Android™, users can now perform their business activities under a much more secure and more convenient environment by upgrading the Windows OS. Consequently, it will be important for IT administrators to confirm support of the latest OS version when introducing MDM. OPTiM, understanding this situation, has quickly made Optimal Biz available for use on the latest Windows^® OS, Windows^® 10. With this approach, customers will be able to realize their overall management even for devices upgraded to the latest Windows^® OS or for deployment of new devices equipped with the latest OS, Windows^® 10, as in the past.
